EDGE motor paling kenceng di sentul, Peristiwa ini menjadi momentum menggembirakan pabrikan Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI), yang baru seumur jagung meluncurkan Edge di awal tahun macan. Dan terbukti, bendera kemenangan berkibar di Sirkuit Internasional di kawasan Bogor, Jawa Barat itu.

Tahun ini tercatat di kelas IP1 (bebek tune-up 125 cc) ada 31 pembalap, sedangkan kelas IP2 (bebek tune-up 110 cc) 27 peserta, Sementara industri motor berinisial ‘Y’ didukung sembilan tim dan 14 pembalap. Menurut Ibnu, waktu sesi latihan khusus Kawasaki Edge di Sentul beberapa waktu yang lalu, output tenaga Edge mencapai 24,7 dk/15.000 rpm. Temperatur Sentul turun drastis jadi 27ËšC dan kelembabannya 72%, jauh dari kondisi ideal yang diinginkan 36ËšC dan kelembaban di bawah 50%.
